About Us

heads up! is a specialist private provider of neurological physiotherapy, established in 1997, we have grown to become one of the leading neurological physiotherapy practices in the UK.

We are committed to providing the highest possible quality of care.  Our treatment is tailored to each person’s individual requirements and circumstances to help them achieve their maximum level of function and independence.  People with any degree of movement and balance difficulties will benefit from our specialist treatment.

Here at heads up! we feel almost everything people do depends on being able to move.  Much of the enjoyment and satisfaction we get from our lives comes from activities which require some amount of movement.  Having movement problems can also mean that we lose some of our independence and need to rely more on others.

Our treatment is hands on and designed to help with movement difficulties, stiffness, weakness, balance problems and for those who have just lost confidence in walking.  Together with the individual, family and carers we identify problem areas and devise a plan of how to work towards obtaining the best functional outcome.  With our specialist treatment we aim to restore confidence, make movement easier and maximise independence.

Our treatment programmes which are tailored to your individual requirements will be augmented by exercises and appropriate activities to practice at home whenever possible.  We give advice and encouragement about the best possible way of maximising your potential recovery.

Please take time to read the patient’s stories.  They are inspiring!
